Boards and components received!

Well, finally we got all components and bare PCB for first batch of boards. We promised to start shipping out till end of May – ok, we delayed it for 1 week, so I’m sorry for keeping you waiting! This Saturday we will get first 100 pcs assembled, and we have enough components and bare PCBs for several hundreds more.

BeagleBoard-XM with NEC LCD display


Today I tried add-on LVDS board with NEC LCD panel. Photo is attached. As you can see, now BeagleBoard logo is clearly visible, because NEC panel has lower brightness comparing to Litemax.

Also, NEC panel requires to install R9 and R10 pull-ups to switch panel to 24-bits color mode.

BeagleBoard-XM with Litemax LCD display


OK, just got first batch of boards and made tests with Litemax DLF 10″ LCD panel. It works OK! I made a photo of working LCD. Unfortunately, LCD is very bright, so my camera captured BeagleBoard logo as full white rectangle. Will try to make another photo with professional camera.
